Camden McDonald-González is a writer and director born in Silver Spring, MD and raised in Spanish Fork, UT. He is a current undergraduate student majoring in Film and Media Arts at the University of Utah.
Drawing from a rich understanding of World Cinema and the American Independents, his films follow the lives of those caught in the crossfires of the American Dream, told with a Classical Hollywood flare.
He has served on the executive board of the University of Utah's Film Production Club. He received recognition for achievement in original screenwriting at the 2025 Zappers student film showcase at the University of Utah for his short film Juniper.
